Thames Tall Ship Cruise

Sailing on the Thames on a unique tall ship.

After a successful first edition in 2012, Sail Royal Greenwich was back with a fleet of 9 Tall Ships and again became home to the world’s finest tall ships in Greenwich, London. From Wednesday 28 August to Sunday September 1^st, the second edition of Sail Royal Greenwich took place, and so did the Thames Tall Ship Cruise.

All cruises sailed past the O₂ Arena, Canary Wharf, Old Royal Naval College, Queens House and the Observatory. The ships passed through the Thames Barrier and crossed the Greenwich Meridian Line (check the Sailing Routes here).

The VIP Thames Tall Ship Cruise was a longer cruise, and sailed all the way to Tower Bridge and back.

In the evening there is a spectacular fireworks display on the river exclusively for all Tall Ships on the river.
