Near Tower Bridge, on the south bank of the Thames, lies South Dock Marina. The Underground stations (Canada Water – Jubilee Line – and Surrey Quays – over-ground) stop near to the marina and you can get to the Olympic Centre in Greenwich, where various activities such as concerts, will be provided, in just two stops and the Olympic Village in just 3-5 stops.. The Marina has its own pier where Thames Clippers, which transport you to the city and the Games, stop every 20 minutes.
In addition to the port, there is also a huge shopping centre with a 24-hour Tesco, a McDonalds and a cinema complex.
